COMPARISON OF ADJACTIVEI- The equal degree of adjective comparison :
$1.$ As + Adj + as

Ex : She runs fast as possible as she can.

The same + N + as

Ex : I am the same age as you

$6.$ Một số trạng từ nhấn mạnh cho so sánh bằng
- Just, nearly $\rightarrow $ as........ as, like
Ex : She looks just like her mother
I am nearly as tall as heis
- almost, exactly, just, nearly $\rightarrow $ the same ..... as
Ex : I am almost the same age as him.
II- The comparison degree of adj (So sánh hơn)
$1.$ So sánh kép (càng ngày càng)
- Type I : adj + er and adj + er
more and more + adj
Ex : It's becoming colder and colder
It's becoming more and more unpleasant
- Type II : The + comparation + S + V........., the + comparative + S - V
(càng bao nhiều ..... .. càng bấy nhiêu)
Ex : The harder he learns, the better pupil he becomes.

$3.$ Dùng "the + comparison" (so sánh giữa $2$ người, $2$ vật)
Ex : She is the younger of the two girls
The book is more expensive of the two ones
$4.$ Dùng với câu hỏi lựa chọn với "or"
Ex : Which is more expensive, this bag or that one ?
$5.$ Những adv nhấn mạnh cho so sánh hơn

$6.$ So sánh hơn với "prefer" & "would rather"

Ex : I prefer drinking wine to drinking tea.
I prefer tea to coffee.
* Would rather + V than V
Ex : I'd rather drink beer than wine.
Would rather (not) + $\begin{cases} V (hiện tại)\\ have + P_{II} (quá khứ)\end{cases} $

III- The superlative degree of Adj
$1.$ Giới hạn so sánh nhất
S + tobe+ the + superlatives + $\begin{cases} places (in/on + N)(on earth =in the world= under the sun (dưới bầu trời này)\\ of/ among + N (nhiều)\\ S + have (got)\end{cases} $
Ex : She is the most beautiful of $3$ sisters.

$3.$ Hay dùng "one of"
